FILM SYNOPSIS:
"MASTERPIECE" explores the delusional narcissism which lurks in the dark heart of social media, with its false promise of a golden mean and the brutalising brevity of life within the bubble of a light box and a disposable, me too consumer pop culture.
In the limelight lies a young woman dressed in the garment of her own scribbles, the garment is further more reflective of her adorned in envelopes as her obsession to receive beautiful notions of approval becomes overwhelming.
Loosing face, a spare bed and a broken television offer limited company as the lost and lonely misfit shields her wide open eyes to live with the shame of self isolation. Under the cloak of darkness she takes the bitter pill of rejection and comes to rest as a still life model of addiction to social media in the digital age.
